JRMSU ranks 4th during MASTS

A total of 81 medals were bagged by Jose Rizal Memorial State University which put them on the 4th place on the over-all ranking on the recent Mindanao Association of State Tertiary Schools (MASTS) Competitions held at Tandag City, Surigao del Sur on November 3-12, 2016. Fifty five athletes and 11 officials from the total number of delegates of JRMSU were from Dipolog Campus .
JRMSU won 24 gold medals, 36 silver medals and 21 bronze medals, putting them at 4th place for the sports competition and 7th place for literary.
Among the 29 universities and colleges who participated in the said event, Surigao del Sur State University garnered 115 medals which put them on the 1st place followed by Mindanao State University with 107 medals as 2nd, Western Mindanao State University with 74 medals took the 3rd place and Camiguin Polytechic State College on the 5th place with 106 medals.
